Jackie O’s announces an upcoming release that is happening at our Taproom Saturday, April 21 for Record Store Day. The beer, Orange Crates, is a collaboration with Brandon Tolbert of The Answer in Richmond, Virginia.

Orange Crates is Belgian golden strong ale bottle conditioned with Brettanomyces and brewed with Bastogne Belgian ale yeast. It will see Ohio distribution. OC was brewed at Jackie O’s in Athens, Ohio with Brandon Tolbert of The Answer (Richmond, VA) on March 24, 2017. The name refers to the orange crates used to bottle condition Orval, which is also the Trappist beer OC is inspired by. The name is also a knod to record collecting/digging, since both Brad Clark (our Director of Brewing Operations) & Brandon collect records.
