(Minneapolis, MN) – The Bauhaus family is releasing a very, very special beer on April 2nd that will not only take us through the end of Short Pants season, but will hopefully, magically, turn this wintry mix into unending days of sunshine. Introducing, Short Pants Lemon Shandy.

Clocking in at 4.5% and 15 IBU, this crisp, thirst-quenching, delicious, lemony ale is brewed with wheat and natural lemon ingredients. Essentially a beer cocktail, a shandy typically consists of a relatively neutral base beer with added juice or concentrate. Unlike other shandies on the market, we use natural lemon products such as lemon zest, lemon concentrate, and lemon puree to provide a more authentic, handcrafted shandy that doesn’t taste artificial or sugary sweet.

To make sure thirsts are sufficiently quenched through the warmer months, Short Pants Lemon Shandy will be available from April through August. Starting Monday, April 2nd, it will be on tap in our Northeast MPLS taproom and available in both 6- and 12-packs of 12 oz cans at liquor stores throughout MN and WI. You can expect to find Short Pants running rampant on draft lines at rooftop bars and patios across the state all Summer long.
