Thousands of Homebrewers Gather in Twin Cities for Three-Day Conference and Expo
WHAT: Homebrewers from across the country will come together in Minneapolis for Homebrew Con 2017, also known as the 39th annual National Homebrewers Conference. Hosted by the American Homebrewers Association, the event-a three-day celebration dedicated to enhancing homebrewing culture and camaraderie-features interactive sessions, workshops and demonstrations that cater to beer enthusiasts and amateur brewers of every level.
The conference is also home to the final round of judging in this year’s National Homebrew Competition
WHO: An estimated 3,000 attendees will have the opportunity hear from over 80 presenters, including keynote speaker Omar Ansari, founder of the Surly Brewing Company, which is based in Minneapolis and one of the fastest growing and most innovative craft breweries in the country. Presenters include other pioneering and veteran homebrewers, beer industry professionals, mead makers and more.
