[Press Release:]
(Miami, FL) – Concrete Beach Brewery is taking it to the streets! On March 4th from 12-6pm, the brewery is closing Northwest 24th Street in Wynwood for Miami Gras, a block party celebrating the intersection of Miami, Mardi Gras and Carnaval cultures, as well as the launch of a beer with the same name.
Much like typical Mardi Gras festivities found on Bourbon Street, Miami Gras will be a high-energy street festival fusing culture, music, food and drinks to celebrate the international diversity of Miami. Guests will be able to dance the afternoon away to Bad Apples Brass Band
After dancing up an appetite, guests can enjoy food by Wynwood newbie Crazy Poke
And what’s a brewery festival without beer? Miami Gras is a French-style saison inspired by the heritage of New Orleans, the eclectic cocktails of Bourbon Street and the outburst of cultures that come alive during the season of Carnaval. The dry yet fruity beer is brewed with orange-blossom honey and juniper berries, and has notes of pepper, citrus and spice.
Since Miamians are known to do things a little differently than the rest of the country, the brewery is encouraging guests to join in on its Miami Gras festival by embodying the spirit of their own carnaval and dressing the part. Those who arrive in costume will have the chance to win a VIP party at the Social Hall for up to 10 people.
Concrete Beach has partnered with the Rhythm Foundation
Miami Gras will be available for a limited time only on tap at the Social Hall and in limited release 12 oz. 6-pack cans available at select retailers across Miami. To find where it’s available, visit the beer finder: http://concretebeachbrewery.com/beers/find/.
