February features Bank Brewing Company, and they know a thing or two about getting through winter. Based out of Hendricks, Minnesota, Bank Brewing Company fully understands that this time of year can get pretty dreary. So the brewers over there are helping out their followers by spicing things up! Last month they released their new Imperial Black IPA, Into the Black. It’s a complex beer, creamy yet citrusy with strong grains and a hint of chocolate. Bank Brewing is also about to release the fifth in their Hops Lab line. Each of these beers has a different colored label, and their Orange beer will be double dry-hopped and in the west coast style. These are in addition to their regular beers, which include hoppy, fresh, fruity, sour, and smoky high notes. They have some great names, too, like the Sour Bomb and the Smoke Bomb, Serendipitous Union, Wanted, and Hop Bandit. Bank Brewing does tend toward strong beers with lots of hops, but their hops are all domestically grown and all the other ingredients are sourced as locally as possible. Bank Brewing Company beers can’t be found everywhere, but their website does have a complete list of distributors in Minnesota and South Dakota.
