About Small Town Brewery

After home brewing for over two decades, Tim Kovac founded Small Town Brewery in 2010. Kovac’s brewing focus developed as he unearthed his unique family brewing history, which dates back to the 17th century. His ancestor’s brewing practices – which included gruit-based recipes that use herbs, flowers, roots and berries – have inspired Small Town’s innovative offerings that pay homage to the roots of modern brewing. 1. totally tastes like IBC rootbeer! Just wish it wasnt so expensive! Taste great! My new favorite drink ! I give it 5 thumbs up! Wish they could keep them in the stores and also have 12pks and 22ozs lol!

  2. I think that’s a rare special version. They’re probably much more distracted with the demand for the core version at the moment but who knows.

  3. My husband and son love this beer. I can only drink a half of one but my choice of drink is wine. Our small town liquor store can’t keep it stocked.

  4. Long Island is LOVING THIS!

    THANK YOU!
JUST Want ingredient, carb, calorie etc content! But this stuff is Fantabulous!

  5. Just walked into a bar in Sacramento Ca and they had it I’ve had it before and it is real good if you like root beer but be careful it will get you there.

  11. Loved it in Cedar Key Fl. restaurant “Away from the World” and now will search for it in Ocala and Gainesville. My wife does not like beer but loved this so we want to know where to buy stock and cases. Great drink.

  12. Great flavor but I too had an allergic reaction from it. Trouble breathing and throat swole up… Kinda weird as I am not really allergic to anything.

  13. Just had a guy come into liquor store and said after drinking 2 he couldn’t get off floor and had trouble breathing, I feel fortunate I only had a rash.

  14. I personally drank a 6er of Not Your Father’s Root Beer (spread out over a week) and I was totally fine. I’ve been somewhat sensitive to alcohol or too many calories at times. This beer does have a lot of calories and is very sweet to taste. I wouldn’t recommend drinking more than one of this in a sitting for those who can be sensitive to those things but some people could probably drink a few in a night and be perfectly fine.

  15. I also broke out in hives after one bottle. I would like to know what’s in it so I can figure out my allergy.
