Press Release:
(Pottsville, PA) – D.G. Yuengling & Son, Inc. is expanding their offerings in New England.
Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island consumers will soon be able to enjoy more varieties of Yuengling. Starting this April, they will be able to purchase Yuengling Summer Wheat, a traditional weizen beer that is brewed with a combination of wheat and barley malts, Hallertau hops and authentic Bavarian-style top fermenting yeast to deliver a thick, creamy head with overtones of banana and clove esters.
Over the past few years, we’ve committed to the development and expansion of our portfolio of beers to meet the requests of our markets and consumers’ tastes. In 2011, we released our Oktoberfest as homage to our German Heritage. Copper in color, this medium bodied beer is the perfect blend of roasted malts with just the right amount of hops to capture a true representation of the style. This brew will be available for purchase in August.
Following up on the success of Oktoberfest was our Summer Wheat in 2014, and we will be adding a bold new brew to our line-up this November.
“We’ve listened to the requests from our newest markets and are excited to provide them the variety and selection they are looking for.” David Casinelli, COO of D.G. Yuengling and Son, Inc. said, “We can’t wait for them to enjoy the newest additions to our family of beers.”
