Mother's D'Lila Super Hopped Up Wheat

Press Release:

(Springfield, MO) – Mother’s Brewing Company has released another beer from its Mother’s Others series. D’Lila, which is named after the grandmother of the founder of Mother’s, comes in at 8.8% ABV and 55 IBU. Fermented like a traditional wheat beer, but hopped more like and IPA, D’Lila is brewed with orange and lemon peel and bergamot tea. It is full of fruity and citrus flavors, complex, and yet refreshingly light.

D’Lila is sold in 4 packs and draft, and is now currently available in the Springfield, MO market, with other markets to follow closely behind.

This beer pairs well with grilled chicken skewers, turkey burgers, fresh fruit, summer salads, peach cobbler, and other lighter, summertime dishes.

“D’Lila is a higher ABV beer we created to be enjoyed during the humid Missouri summer months we’ve become accustomed to,” says Jeremy Wicks, Director of Sales and Marketing. “D’Lila is a really complex beer, but yet its refreshing quality drinks well on even the hottest day of the year.”

D’Lila belongs in the Mother’s Others series of beers, which all come in at 8.5% ABV or higher. Several more beers from the Mother’s Others series will be released throughout 2014.

Mother’s Brewing Company is an independent craft brewery located in Springfield, Missouri. The company’s beers are currently available in bars, restaurants, and grocery and liquor stores throughout most of MO, as well as Kansas City, KS and Northwestern AR.
