Coney Island On Tap hits the beach on July 12th

(New York, NY) – Townsquare Lifestyle Events is proud to announce the inaugural Coney Island On Tap Beer Festival at MCU Park, home of the Brooklyn Cyclones, the Class A Affiliate of the New York Mets.

On Saturday, July 12th, 2014 we are bringing the brews to the ballpark! Coney Island On Tap will showcase releases from America’s finest craft breweries offering attendees an unlimited sampling of over 100 beers from over 60 of the country’s best craft breweries. In addition to the incredible selection of beer, there will be live music, various vendors and delicious food available for purchase.

Coney Island On Tap will initially offer one general session as well as a VIP Rooftop Deck Ticket package.

General Admission:
General admission tickets be good for Saturday, July 12th, 2014 from 1 P.M. – 4 P.M. General Admission attendees will receive a 5 oz. souvenir tasting glass and 3 hours of unlimited sampling.

VIP Rooftop Deck Admission:
The Rooftop Deck VIP Ticket Package offers the ultimate VIP Experience. Ticket holders will be whisked to the Rooftop Deck via their own private elevator where they will be greeted with amazing sweeping views of Coney Island, the iconic Coney Island Boardwalk, and the stadium.

VIP Ticket holders will receive a $10 food voucher, a 5 oz. sampling glass and have the ability to move freely between the VIP Deck and the main festival floor. The Rooftop Deck will feature signature beers not available on the main festival floor, as well as meet and great the brewers.

Signature beers from Brooklyn Brewery, Coney Island Brewing Co. and more will be on hand!

Tickets for both general admission and VIP are limited and are expected to sell out so attendees are encouraged to purchase their tickets early.

HOW TO GET THERE

By Car:
From East:
Take the Belt Parkway to Cropsey Avenue Exit (6S). At light, make right onto Cropsey Avenue, and proceed approximately 1 mile, as Cropsey turns into W17th Street. The MCU Park ballpark is directly ahead.
From West:
Take the Belt Parkway to Cropsey Avenue Exit (6). At the light make a right onto Cropsey Avenue and proceed approximately 1 mile, as Cropsey turns into W17th Street. The MCU Park ballpark is directly ahead.

By Subway:
Take the D Train, F Train, N Train or Q Train to the Cropsey/Stillwell Avenue stop. At the corner of Stillwell and Surf Avenues (where Nathan’s is located), turn right and walk two short blocks west along Surf Avenue. The MCU Park ballpark is on your left hand side.

By Bus:
Take the B36, B68, B74 or B82 bus to Stillwell Avenue and Surf Avenue. Then, walk two blocks west along Surf Avenue to the MCU Park ballpark.
