(San Leandro, CA) – 21st Amendment Brewery announced its groundbreaking for a brand-new brewery late this past spring. Last week, the company shared a video of the ceremony.

We are about to embark on a great adventure. A few weeks ago, we broke ground on our soon-to-be new home in San Leandro, CA. Our new brewery will house a beautiful 100-barrel brewhouse, state of the art canning line, event spaces, and eventually a full service pub and beer garden.

To say that we are excited to share this experience with you would be a massive understatement. Take a peek at the video below for some behind-the-scenes action from our official groundbreaking. Big thanks to San Leandro Mayor Stephen Cassidy and the city council members who wielded golden shovels with us to commemorate this special day.

This is California dreamin’ at its finest, beer people. Beer will flow in San Leandro by the end of 2014.
