Urban Chestnut Brewery looking to expand presence further in Germany
Beginning last fall, St. Louis’ third-largest craft brewer, Urban Chestnut, began exporting beer to Munich. Urban Chestnut’s co-founder and brewmaster Florian Kuplent, who was born in Germany and received a master’s degree in malting and brewing science from the University of Munich-Weihenstephan, said Urban Chestnut has exported a “pallet of beer here or there.”
