Beer Institute reports May domestic tax paid estimate for brewers dips 2%

(Washington DC) – Today the Beer Institute published an unofficial estimate of domestic tax paid by beer brewers:

The May 2014 domestic tax paid estimate is 16,000,000 barrels. May 2013 removals were 16,320,000 (revised) for a decrease of 2.0 percent.

Please note the following monthly revisions from previous releases for 2013 and 2014:
