Former “Kate the Great” brewer and New England beer veteran, Tod Mott, talks past and future (video)
Tod Mott, founder of Tributary Brewing, and former brewer of the Russian imperial stout formerly known as “Kate the Great” discusses his past work and his future in Maine with Seacoast Beverage Lab. There is also some interesting sidebar on trademarks. Mott will brew his imperial stout again but it could have a new name. He hints that there may or may not be negotiations to acquire the “Kate the Great” name from his former employer, Portsmouth.
