River North IPA cans to be released on April 26

River North IPA Label

Press Release:

(Denver, CO) – River North Brewery will release its second canned offering, River North IPA, on Saturday April 26th at 1pm in the Denver taproom. In an effort to offer this hoppy beer as fresh as possible, River North’s brewers will keg and can IPA less than 24 hours before the release party.

IPA will join River North White in cans, providing Colorado adventure seekers with more options to fuel their outdoor endeavors.

As with all their beers, the River North brewers put their own Belgian-style spin on this release, crossing pine and citrus American hops with yeast esters of white pepper and clove. The result is a Belgian-influenced red IPA like no other, coming in at 6% ABV and 55 IBU.

“This beer is inspired by my original Belgian-style IPA recipe from my homebrew days,” Head Brewer Matt Hess said. “It was the obvious choice for our next can, and just goes so well with Colorado summers.”

River North will have IPA both on tap and in cans-to-go at the release. Four-packs of 16-ounce cans will cost $10.

Matt designs all his own cans, in between crafting new brew recipes. Look for more additions to the River North can lineup later this year.

Matt and Jessica Hess opened the award-winning River North Brewery in February 2012. Brewing in the RiNo district of Denver, River North focuses on yeast-centric beers with Belgian-style flair.
