Flying Dog Agave Cerveza hits six-packs, draft in June

Flying Dog Agave Cerveza 6pk

(Frederick, MD) – Flying Dog will add another beer to its six-pack mix when Agave Cerveza hits bottles in June. More below…

The inspiration for Agave Cerveza was for craft brewers to take on mainstream, macro beer styles, especially this particular style in the summertime. One third of the malt bill is flaked maize for the corn and cracker malt flavors of a traditional Mexican lager. The agave is added at the end of the boil and the lime peel post-fermentation to give it zesty, not-too-sweet notes up front that give way to a clean, crisp finish. If sticking a lime slice in is how you like it, go shead.

Available beginning of June, draft and 6-packs

ABV: 4.3%
20 IBUs

Specialty Malts: Bon Munich, Flaked Maize
Hops: Hallertau, Saaz
Others: Agave Nectar, Lime Peel
