For our lucky fans living in the greater San Diego and Los Angeles areas–we know you moved just to be closer to us, and we’re flattered, thank you–we’ve got a special treat. The latest experiment in the Stone Stochasticity Project, Varna Necropolis, will be available in bottles and on tap for growler fills at your nearest Stone Company Store beginning Monday, March 24th (31st). This golden Belgian-style ale is truly a diversion from the ordinary. First dosed with a substantial amount of hops, it was then laid to rest in bourbon whiskey barrels, producing a mildly dry and bitter brew accented with layers of vanilla and oak.
