(Clayton, DC) – Big things are happening in Downtown Clayton, NC next month on the eve of Deep River Brewing Company’s one year anniversary.
Deep River Brewing Company is excited to announce that it has purchased a canning line and plans to eventually put all of its year-round beers in 16 ounce cans. The brewery plans to kick things off by canning three of its year-round beers to coincide with NC Beer Month. Those beers will be Backcountry Black IPA, Riverbank Rye-it Pale Ale, and Twisted River Wit. Other offerings will be released this summer including their highly popular Double D’s Watermelon Lager and 4042 Stout.
“This is a gigantic step in the right direction for us to give our customers options and make our beer more portable and accessible wherever they care to partake” Auclair said.
Along with canning their beer, Deep River has signed a lease for an additional 6,000SF of office and warehouse space to house their new wholesale cooler. On the tail of this expansion they are adding three more 30 Barrel (BBL) fermenters in early June to increase fermentation capacity. The addition of the canning line and fermenters will put Deep River on track to produce approximately 2500 BBLS in 2014. Look for cans to be available mid-April around the Triangle at local bottle shops and retailers.
