(Blanco, TX) – Real Ale Brewing Co. announces the release of its newest collaboration ale – BLAKKR Imperial Black Ale.

Real Ale Brewing Company teamed up with Indiana’s Three Floyds Brewing Co. and Minnesota’s Surly Brewing Co. to create this double black IPA. Over the last few months brewers from Real Ale, Three Floyds and Surly have visited each other to brew together at each location. “We are very proud to finally release this beer in collaboration with our friends at Surly and 3Floyds,” says Real Ale Brewmaster Erik Ogershok, “and Blakkr is an ale that is truly worthy of our monumental efforts.” Ogershok continues, “The Midwest has already been experiencing the dark tide of BLAKKR over the last few weeks, and now at last it is time for Texans to have the chance to tame the beast that is BLAKKR.”

This special release will be available on draft and in 4packs of 12 oz. cans throughout Texas beginning March 17.
