(Hampton, NH) – In January, Blue Lobster brewer, David Sakolsky was fired suddenly, allegedly for reasons that remain mysterious, according to this Patch piece.
Sakolsky said he can only speculate that his request [for a stake in the company] may have had played a role in his firing, based on third-party information and rumors he’s heard.
Flash forward just six weeks and Sakolsky reported some good news on RateBeer:
Funding has been approved! Onward!! 😀
New life goal: By my 30th birthday I will be producing beer in a brewery I cofounded with good folks. I will have equal stake and handle all brewing as well as creative control over production.
Sakolsky notes that he would like to keep the brewery in New Hampshire.
Blue Lobster won two bronze medals and a silver medal in this past year’s RateBeer Best competition under Sakolsky’s reign.
