(Loveland, CO) – On January 10th, Grimm Brothers Brewhouse will release 7 Ravens Schwarzbier in our taproom. This winter seasonal is a longtime favorite of ours, and is perfect for those short January days. A limited amount will be available for draft from our distributors.

Schwarzbier originated from southern Thuringen and northern Franconia in Germany and is a variant of the Munich Dunkel style. Sometimes refered to as a “black pilsner” this beer is rarely that dark and doesn’t have strong roasted or porter-like flavors.

7 Ravens keeps with German tradition and is balanced throughout combining subtle, smooth roast malt flavors with hints of caramel. This flavorful beer is easy to drink and a favorite amoung beer drinkers.

Color: Very dark brown with ruby highlights
Aroma: Subtle malt sweetness with hints of roast and coee
Flavor: Rich and sweet Munich malt characteristics with light bitter-chocolate notes and
balnced hop bitterness
Mouthfeel: Medium body with clean nish
