(Lexington, MA) – Clown Shoes Beer made a couple new beer announcements on its Facebook page in the last week or so.

Hammer of the Holy, the company’s Vampire Slayer Smoked Imperial Stout aged in rum barrels for five months, has started hitting shelves. “This will roll out to most of our markets in limited quantities.” That includes California which will see 80 cases as well as Ohio and Texas. A couple random details…Ohio will see 40 cases and Michigan will see 40 cases.

Date Night Saison will debut this winter.

Coming next spring will be the debut of Clown Shoes Space Cake Double IPA. “The label features Miracle Mike flying through the cosmos, accompanied by his bionic dog, while a legion of murderous cakes and cupcakes shoot laser beams at them.” And it sounds like they’re going West Coast-style IPA route with this one… “Very Different [from Galactica]. Mosaic hops instead of Galaxy and a lighter, west coast style malt bill.”
