Thursday, October 17th: Sipping Session with The Rare Barrel…..5:00pm

This is the official world wide launch of The Rare Barrel, an all sour beer company, located in neighboring Berkeley. Explore the tart, tangy, acidic, and magical world of sour beer with a new beer house dedicated specifically to the craft of aging and blending this unique style of beer.

We will be pouring two draft offerings from The Rare Barrel’s portfolio:

*SKUs Me – Golden Sour Beer Aged in Oak Barrels (the first blend in their collection) is fermented with Brettanomyces yeast and Lactobacillus bacteria and aged in oak barrels.

*Ensorcelled – Dark Sour Beer Aged in Oak Barrels with Raspberries. A blend of their oak-aged red sour beer and oak-aged black Brettanomyces beer. After blending, raspberries are added and then the beer is aged in barrels for several months.
