Paragraph 11: Lord Hobo founder to open large Massachusetts contract brewing hub

Lord Hobo logo(Boston, MA) – Lord Hobo founder, Daniel Lanigan, offered up some big news in a tweet on Tuesday.

Lanigan plans to open a full-service contract brewery under the name, “Paragraph 11,” according to a Massachusetts state filing.

Some color behind the name from Mahalo: “When you have finished drinking a beer, then it is time to drink another. This is known as the 11th Commandment or Paragraph 11, written with a paragraph symbol (which looks like §) and is found on many German beer steins.”

Per the tweet, the facility will be 150k square feet with a 100-barrel brewhouse, a 15-barrel brewhouse, water treatment capabilities and a lab. Packaging options will include kegging, bottling and canning.

Paragraph 11 would be joining a few other contract hubs in the New England including (but not limited to) Two Roads Brewing in Stratford, Connecticut, and Mercury Brewing in Ipswich, Massachusetts.

Lanigan’s other business, Lord Hobo, is considered a “world-class” beer bar in the Boston metro.
