Fordham partnered with the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum (CBMM) again this year to bring Rosie Parks Oyster Stout to market. The stout intentionally includes Chesapeake Bay oysters in the boiling process, a nod to the legendary skipjack Rosie Parks who once dredged for oysters in those same waters. She is now undergoing restoration at CBMM and Fordham will be donating $5 to the Museum for every barrel sold.

Candi will be released on draft and in the Variety Pinup Pack on October 7th. Candi is sugar and spice and not very nice. Saaz and Halltertau hops give her a clean, floral aroma. Golden in color, the soft sweetness of apricot and pear linger nicely against a dry finish with minimal hop bitterness. She conceals a 9.5% ABV.

Recent Tasting Room one-offs include “Cran Ram”, a delightfully dry iteration of Rams Head IPA hopped with Cranberries. We are also toying with the idea of a ginger-infused Double D.
