Avery Old Jubilation Ale

Our winter strong ale has a gorgeous mahogany hue, a hint of hazelnuts, and a finish reminiscent of mocha and toffee. This 8.3% ABV treat is currently available in the Avery Tap Room on draft and in 6-packs. Look for it in stores by the end of the month.

Avery Wet Hop Ales

Hops are only harvested once a year, but they’re very fragile. So, the vast majority of hop cones are dried in kilns to preserve them, and pelletized for even longer storage.

But once a year our brewers have the chance to brew with fresh or “wet” hops; we use them just a couple days after the hops are picked off the bines. This year we were able to get enough Colorado hops to make three different Fresh Hop beers.

~Wet Hop Pale Ale with Nugget hops from High Wire Hops in Paonia, CO
~Wet Hop Dark Ale with Columbus hops from High Wire Hops in Paonia, CO

We brewed these Fresh Hop beers within a couple days of each other, so now we can tap all three this Friday, Sept. 20th at 5pm in the Avery Tap Room.

Our brewers are also in the midst of experimenting with creating a delightfully autumnal IPA, spiced with Colorado spruce tips! Stay tuned for more info…
