(Escondido, CA) – Label approval came in this week for 2012 Double Bastard Ale Southern Charred (aged in Bourbon Barrels).

This is part of Stone Brewing Co.’s Quingenti Millilitre (500ml bottle) series and the seventh to be released this year.
Per the back label, this beer is a blend of two different batches of Double Bastard Ale aged in different barrels for a period of ten or thirteen months.
Some of the Kentucky bourbon barrels once held Stone Suitable for Cave Aging Imperial Porter.
