Pumpkin Patch Ale begins in the dirt at Rogue Farms in Independence, OR. Six acres of GYO Dream(TM) Sugar Pumpkins are planted in May alongside Rogue Farms hops, rye, hazelnuts, jalapenos and honey bees; all of which are used in the Rogue Farms lineup of ales, porters, stouts, lagers, meads, braggots and spirits.
When pumpkins are picked in September, they are loaded onto trucks and driven to the Rogue Brewery in Newport, OR – just 77 miles away. The pumpkins are hand-chopped and seeded, rooasted in a pizza oven and pitched fresh into the brew kettle to create Pumpkin Patch Ale. It’s the revolutionary way to brew!
Mother Nature decides when Pumpkin Patch Ale will be ready for consumption. Long Grow the Revolution!
Dare. Risk. Dream.
