Illinois Craft Brewers Guild meets: state now at 70+ breweries and 85 in-planning
There are now 70+ breweries in IL, and another 85 in-planning. Eighteen breweries opened up in the state over the last year.
That is up from 57 and 67 respectively in 2012 which would hypothetically mean that if 67 – 18 = 49, then there are approximately 36 new breweries-in-planning in Illinois from one year ago.
