Rumpkin Tap Room Release Party: Sunday, Sept. 22nd at 5pm
We wondered what would happen if a monstrous pumpkin ale, plump full of spicy gourdiness, were aged in fine fresh rum barrels to add suggestions of delicate oak and candied molasses. Rumpkin is what happened.
The line party will begin at 11am and will feature rare beers and Tap Room exclusives. Rumpkin bottle sales begin at 5pm and will be sold for $12 each, with a 1-case-limit per person, so come build your cellar.
Thank you, Avery. It’s nice to see a brewery release their pumpkin ale in late September and not the first week of August.
To be fair, comparing the seasonal creep factor between a beer that has been aging away in barrels with your standard issue pumpkin ale is comparing apples & oranges.
