The Vermont Hard Cider Co. hires lobbying firm amidst proposed cider legislation
The Vermont Hard Cider Company has hired McDermott Will & Emery to lobby on issues related to the taxation of its product. Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) introduced a bill in March that would tweak the IRS’s definition of hard cider.
