(Portland, OR) – The Commons Brewery will be releasing its collaboration with Widmer Brothers on Saturday, July, 6th at 2:00pm at the brewery.
Kindred dry hopped red farmhouse ale uses our house farmhouse yeast and experimental X-431 hops from Widmer. The result is a dry, fruity Belgian ale with an assertive hop profile with notes of melon rind, white grape and soft pine.
Kindred will be in capped 750ml bottles for $8, available only at The Commons Tasting Room and Widmer Brothers Gasthaus. A small amount of draft will be available at The Commons, Widmer Gasthaus and select bars in Portland, OR.

Opened in December 2011, The Commons Brewery crafts small batch, approachable and balanced beers. The tasting room is located at: 1810 SE 10th Avenue, Unit E (entrance on SE Stephens between 10th & 11th). Tasting room hours are Thursday 5-9pm, Friday 5-9pm, Saturday 2-9pm and Sunday 2-6pm.
Widmer Brothers began in 1984 when Kurt and Rob Widmer helped lead the Pacific Northwest craft beer movement when they dreamed of brewing unique interpretations of traditional beer styles.
