Silver Eagle Distributors sells more beer on Easter than Independence Day
For Silver Eagle Distributors, the Fourth of July is the fourth biggest sales day of the year, behind Memorial Day, the Christmas/New Year’s holiday and Easter, said John Johnson, the company’s executive vice president of sales and marketing. Annually, the company distributes 46 million cases of Budweiser products and craft beers from its Houston and San Antonio facilities. Last year, sales jumped 7.5 percent during the summer months, a period that makes up about 37 percent of the company’s annual business.
