Rhode Island governor signs brewery sampling bill that requires off-premise consumption
Liquor sampling or tasting is now permitted in Rhode Island, after Gov. Lincoln Chafee signed legislation Thursday approved by the General Assembly allowing licensed operators of breweries, distilleries and wineries to provide adult customers samples of spirits or malt beverages manufactured at the licensed plant.
