Redhook Game Changer Ale debuts at all Buffalo Wild Wings locations on July 15th

Redhook Gamechanger AlePress Release:

(Minneapolis, MN) – Buffalo Wild Wings, Inc., wants to change the game by offering a new beer, from Redhook Brewery, that was designed to pair perfectly with eating wings and watching sports. To brew a beer made for sports fans, Redhook tapped into Buffalo Wild Wings’ most loyal Guests to better understand what type of beer they would prefer while watching a game and for direction on naming it. The new brew is aptly called Game Changer. Buffalo Wild Wings has announced that it will carry Redhook Game Changer on tap in all of its locations throughout the United States beginning July 15. The beer will not be available for purchase in bottles at retail.

“We’re all about Wings. Beer. Sports.™, and we are always looking for new offerings to enhance the Guest experience at our restaurants,” said Kathy Benning, Buffalo Wild Wings executive vice president – global marketing, brand and business development. “Our Guests, above all, are sports fans, and they’re looking for that social environment to enjoy the game with their friends. We’re excited to offer them Game Changer, knowing that it was created with them in mind.”

Redhook Game Changer is a pale ale with a rich amber color. It is perfectly balanced with a blend of caramel malts and American-grown hops so that it can stand up to hot, spicy wings without overpowering the palate. With an alcohol by volume content of 4.6 percent, Game Changer is a sessionable beer that will appeal to a broad audience, from light domestic beer drinkers to craft beer drinkers.

“Wings and sports go hand-in-hand, and we know there is demand for a good, flavorful draught beer to complement the two,” said Andy Thomas, President of Commercial Operations at Craft Brew Alliance, Inc., the independent craft brewing company operating Redhook Brewery. “Redhook Game Changer was created for that purpose. It’s an approachable craft beer that’s not too heavy or too high in alcohol, so people can enjoy drinking it responsibly over the course of a whole game. Game Changer’s unique story gives sports fans a new craft beer with the authenticity of a Redhook brew.”

With more than 925 locations in North America, Buffalo Wild Wings serves more draught beer than any other restaurant in the country and is the No. 1 account for more than 50 different beer brands — including 30 craft brands — which means Game Changer is likely to become another great-selling draft beer across America.
