(Woodbridge, CT) – On Wednesday, a Connecticut Patch edition reported that New England Brewing has a zoning meeting coming up…
New England Brewing is currently located in a 3,000-square-foot space at 7 Selden St., where it produces about 5,000 barrels of beer a year. The plan is to move to a 8,400-square-foot facility at 175 Amity Road, which is basically across the street from its current home.
After we posted a link to it, a rep for New England Brewing wrote in with some additional info…
We’ve added some additional capacity here at our current location in order to try and get closer to meeting demand in CT. We hope that the additional capacity and our new packaging (canning) line that we received today will hold us over until we commit to a new location. We are currently going through the necessary steps with zoning and what not to see how feasible a few locations are that we are looking at. Our new location will allow us to add 3-4 times as much brewing capacity. We hope to have these things finalized very soon.
The zoning meeting is scheduled for July 15th.
