(San Diego, CA) – Two more breweries, Mystic Brewery and Gigantic Brewing, made their way to California for the first time last week.

In the increasingly hard-to-track San Diego market, in particular, they are the newest additions among what is now more than 500 beer, cider and mead brands available.

Lime Ventures, which specializes carries Shelton Brothers brands among others, covers the whole state and is now representing the two breweries. Lime Ventures also reported earlier this month that it is now representing Bay Area brand, Headlands Brewing.

In other brewery news, Gigantic was just in San Diego to brew a beer with Automatic Brewing. Gigantic also recently released Hellion in bottles, described as “a dry-hopped Belgian-style golden ale, with Sorachi Ace and Simcoe hops.”

And in non-related but just-reported California distribution news, Crooked Stave will come into California next week.
