Horse and Dragon Brewing Co. hires Odell’s Cornish as Head Brewer

Horse and Dragon Brewing Co.Press Release:

(Fort Collins, CO) – Horse & Dragon Brewing Company is proud to announce that Linsey Cornish is joining us as Head Brewer effective August 17, 2013. We’re excited about Linsey becoming part of our team as we work toward bringing more great craft beer to Fort Collins and Colorado, and more people to craft beer. As part of our leadership team, Linsey will help steer Horse & Dragon to become an exceptional brewery and a strong positive addition to the community. We are really impressed with her energy, intelligence, and dedication.

Linsey brings the experience necessary across all aspects of brewing to lead the development of Horse & Dragon’s beer portfolio. During our search we interviewed brewers from throughout the U.S., but we kept coming back to this accomplished Fort Collins-based brewer. We’re grateful to Odell Brewing Company for the experience Linsey’s been given there and to the people in the CSU Brewing Sciences program for both training and inspiring her. Her talent and enthusiasm for creating craft beer is evident, and we’re eager to see where that will lead us. We think she’ll have a reputation much like a top chef before too long, and we’re pleased Horse & Dragon is able to provide her the opportunity to shine as a head brewer.

Horse & Dragon plans to offer excellent beer that brings people together: beer over which people gather and communicate and celebrate. Creating products that foster all of that is a tall order, but we feel confident that Linsey is up to the task.

Horse & Dragon Brewing Company is a Fort Collins-based company with plans to open a production brewery in early 2014. The company is searching for the optimal location and is taking the deliberate steps required in order to meet this timeframe. We plan to inform interested parties as we reach the various business and regulatory milestones and work toward providing fresh, tasty local beer to Northern Colorado.
