Bluejacket and Maine’s Collaboration Time II Ale debuts on Saturday

Although the opening of our sister brewery Bluejacket is approaching, Beer Director Greg Engert & Head Brewer Megan Parisi found time to head north –all the way up in Freeport, ME –to visit our dear friends at Maine Brewing Company for a little brew session.

The result: Collaboration Time II from Bluejacket and Maine Beer Company. This bone-dry American saison is brewed entirely with organic Pilsner malt and Red Wheat malt from Valley Malt in Hadley, MA. Copiously hopped with both Czech-grown Saaz hops and Ahtanum hops sourced from the Pacific Northwest, this ale is then fermented with Maine Beer’s house neutral Ale yeast as well as their house Saison strain.
