(Warrenville, IL) – Here is a tasty nugget that Two Brothers Brewing dropped in an event email blast on Friday:

The brewery is located in Warrenville, Illinois in a 40,000 square foot facility where they are on track to brew 50,000 barrels this year. Continuing to expand, they also acquired a 73,000 square foot restaurant in Aurora now named Two Brothers Roundhouse.

That is one large restaurant.

More importantly, Two Brothers will brew in the ballpark of 50,000 barrels this year. That is approximately twice the output from 2012 of 23,600 barrels, per The Brewers Association. That is coming off of three straight years of 30-36% growth.

To put that into broader context, Elysian Brewing was the only brewery out of nearly 100 regional breweries that grew by 100% or more in 2012.
