Standing Stone, Caldera among Ashland, Oregon, businesses to see water rate increase
Residents and businesses in Ashland are preparing for a 10 percent bump in water and sewer rates. The city council approved the increase in order to have funds for upkeep to the water system. Employees with Standing Stone Brewing said the company took steps long before the vote to minimize any increases. Those steps include movements toward sustainability, including low flow faucets. The increase takes effect July 1, 2013.
