San Diego County supervisor wants to drop “major-use permit” process for craft breweries
In essence, that means dropping an expensive and time-consuming effort to get what is known as a “major-use permit” the county now requires for such enterprises, a process that can cost as much as $200,000 or more for a craft brewery. She also wants to scrap or modify other provisions constraining growth.
