Hops and Grain Brewery likely to become first in Texas to convert to brewpub license (video)
In less than two weeks, an Austin brewery intends to be one of the first in Texas to convert to brewpub status, offering samples for sale in a tap room and small batch beer to carry-out. Hops & Grain brewery on East 6th Street has been open for two years and in that time doubled production from 1,200 barrels.
As of June 7th, the Governor has still not signed the legislation into law.
