
Goose Island Clybourn brewpub “on brink of closing again”
For the second time in five years, the Goose Island brewpub in Lincoln Park is on the brink of closure. Lease negotiations for the 12,500-square-foot restaurant and bar at 1800 N. Clybourn Ave. have broken down because of a dispute about rent and are “not moving forward,” said Chris Siavelis, senior vice president at Deerfield-based CRM Properties Group Ltd., which owns the property.
