(Atlanta, GA) – The latest from SweetWater Brewing Co. as excerpted from Monday’s email newsletter…

Our new brew house is finally up, operating and producing 100% of our beers. After dialing in our recipes to match the profile we are looking for, our brewers are ripping off the training wheels with this new system. Next up, Some Strange!
This Black IPA is back on the books and finally ready to rear its (ugly) head. We had to pump out some test runs and annual batches in the new brew house first, but we promise this one’s worth the wait.
Being the first Dank series beer to hit the new brew house, this one is sure to be extra Dank-ified. We’re hoping to bottle this Black Beauty very soon, which means it should gracing our taste buds by the end of the month. Prime the pallet — it’s almost game time.

All good things must come to an end…and unfortunately, that’s the case with our Exodus Porter. We gave the ol’ ix-nay on the orter-pay late this March, and will be selling off the rest of what we have…which should phase out later this month. So savor ’em if ya got ’em – cause they’ll be a collector’s item alongside Sch’Wheat, Summer Hummer, ESB and the other brews of SweetWater past here soon.

The long, hard wait is now over. IPA 12-packs were packaged late last week giving us 12 more reasons to enjoy a cold, heady brew at the end of the day. They start decorating shelves around Atlanta last week and will keep rolling out throughout the Southeast over the next few weeks.

This expansion is finally pumpin’ out enough liquid happiness to help us keep up on our plans to expand, and the next stop on the list is South Florida. This May, thirsty locals from Miami, Ft. Lauderdale and the Keys will get a special appearance from the Big Kahuna. He’ll be bringing the goods to their market. This is a big one for us as it will round out distribution to cover the entire Sunshine State.
From there, we’ll make our way to Outer Banks, NC and Myrtle Beach, SC here shortly…some might have even seen us at the Myrtle Beach Beer Fest in March as a teaser.
