(Miami, FL) – According to the By the Glass Show, SweetWater Brewing Co. has signed with Gold Coast for distribution in Southern Florida after scouting the area in mid-March. Beers will arrive in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale and the Keys beginning the first and second week of May.

Though SweetWater has been available in the Ocala/Gainesville market for a few years, it has only started filling in the rest of the state over the past several months, bouyed by the recent completion of an expansion project.

In October, the company made its first step towards filling out Florida, signing with Pepin Distributing Company for the Tampa market and Great Bay Distributors for St. Petersburg & Clearwater.

Late last fall, SweetWater signed with City Beverages and Wayne Densch, Inc. in the Orlando and Sanford markets.

In mid-March, SweetWater arrived in the Eastern part of the state with Daytona Beverages in Daytona Beach, Carroll Distributors in Melbourne, and Southern Eagle in Ft. Pierce.

A recent press release also noted that SweetWater would soon be headed to Outer Banks, NC and Myrtle Beach, SC.
