It is possible that this is a hoax since we can’t find anything about Beard Beer in the official places (website, Facebook, Twitter) or perhaps an elaborate April Fools Day prank.
The web address noted in the ad isn’t live either. It isn’t even registered.
Last year, Rogue Ales announced that it would make a beer using the yeast found in Brewmaster, John Maier’s beard. The concept achieved some virality getting the attention of mainstream publishers like Fox News and others. They originally planned to call it New Crustacean.
