Martin House Brewery models new breakfast beer in cans after a “bowl of cereal”
During a special tasting Tuesday, Martin House poured pints of the yet-unreleased light ale, Daybreak, and while most likely won’t wash down their Post Toasties with the so-called breakfast ale, many who tried the brewery’s newest offering did note its appropriateness for a hot summer afternoon, best consumed after lawn mowing or while floating the river. Brewer Cody Martin said that it was modeled after a bowl of cereal, with barley, wheat, oats, and rye, and with a honey and milk sugar finish.
