
Proposed bill would allow growler fills at Delaware liquor stores
Delaware’s growing craft beer industry is looking for a new way to get its brews into to the hands of drinkers throughout the state. Brewers are backing legislation introduced Thursday that would allow liquor stores to fill and sell growlers on their premises. The reusable glass or earthenware jugs, which typically are 64 ounces, currently can be filled only at breweries and licensed brew pubs.
