(Grand Rapids, MI) – Founders Brewing Company announced on Monday that it would push back event ticket sales for the bottle release of Doom, a bourbon barrel-aged Imperial IPA. The new date for the ticket sale is March 16th at 11am and bottles will be released in mid-April.

Notably, the company has swapped ticket vendors for this one, moving from Brown Paper Tickets to Eventbrite.

Last month, a technical fiasco marred ticket sales for this year’s KBS release, leading to BPT issuing an apology.

Brown Paper Tickets would like to apologize to Founders Brewing Company, and its customers, for a 25 minute delay in our ability to sell tickets to the event. We experienced a rare set of circumstances this morning that caused the delay, and we are taking protective measures now to ensure that our customers are not inconvenienced in the future. However, we realize that this isolated incident has caused many ticket buyers disappointment and that is not acceptable to Brown Paper Tickets. We are working with Founders Brewing now to try to find a way to make fans of the KBS Imperial Stout release satisfied customers.
