Texas senator introduces four bills aimed at helping small brewers
Texas lawmakers on Tuesday introduced a package of bills that would help the state’s growing number of production breweries and the brewpub restaurants that would like to package and sell beer off-site.
The new bills would allow for small production breweries to self-distribute up to 40,000 barrels and sell up to 5,000 barrels for on-site consumption only. Brewpubs would be allowed up to 1,000 barrels in to-go sales. Full bills.
